Some markets just seem to never evolve at the same pace as the demand that is right in front of their face. We were asked by the CSG group to look at the marketplace and develop a brand and an identity that would capture the higher fee earners and tomorrows aspiring young stars. The solution was blend, a boutique hotel influenced brand with bags of internal style and a lot less of the usual.
Recruitment advertising¬
We developed a much improved framework for advertising jobs - through 3rd party identitities and a tone of voice that identified with the auidience and successfully differentiated the offer.
Identity design¬
Having estabilished the brand we set about a number of identity and naming routes. Here are two proposals that did not make the grade.
ID and Stationery¬
The final was a stunning bespoke cut typeface that oozed the confident 'less is more' trademark of the very best global fashion brands.
Photography¬
We front loaded the annual budget to ensure we built a range of first class photographic assets. We art directed a number of key shots that could be mixed and matched to identify with the key audiences with a view to using these shots over an 18 month period during start up.

Blend required a sophisticated website to be designed and implemented into their existing I.T. framework within a very short turnaround. We developed a radical search facility that capitalised on the unique back office systems and rolled out the site in a logical way to maximise the SEO.
Direct Mail¬
Hardworking communications at cost effective prices that deliver the brand. These luxury pedometers made a clear statement about the amount of miles done in the kitchen every day and how the pathway to a successful career is equally a long journey that needs to be planned for.

Cool imagery, less is more diret copywriting, a clear indication of the operations size and a confident call to action is all we needed to motivate the awareness campaign above all competitors.
